I adore Danielle and her mom. They are the sweetest most positive people of all time and we were on a mission to get Dani all of the ‘happy pictures’ full of sun and brightness! We got to shoot at multiple different locations, giving Danielle a great variety in her photos. It may have made it a little bit harder to pick out her final images, but I think it was worth it. 😉

 

We started downtown with a leather jacket look for one city set and then broke out Dani’s junior year prom dress for a more glam look.

 

Next it was on to the sunflowers and frolicking with the bees (one of the dangers of shooting in flowers, but again, worth it.). Danielle borrowed a sun hat from the studio collection (yep, I have clothes and accessories that you can borrow for your session!) and it was the perfect touch on this summery flower set on the farm.

 

For Danielle’s last look we hit the beach to get that late summer August glow.

 

 

Danielle’s Review of Her Experience

Dear Future Seniors,

Prepare yourselves to have the most amazing experience, a once in a lifetime opportunity. This is a time where you get to focus on yourself and celebrate growing up. Many people are stressed to find the best photographer that fits their needs. Well stop searching!  Olivia Renee Photography will not disappoint!

I followed Olivia Renee on Instagram when I was a freshman.  I knew I wanted her to do my senior pictures. Olivia´s photography stood out more than any others.  What I liked the most was that it captured each person perfectly. I felt I really saw their personality and who they were, with lighting and angles and settings. She thinks about all of these when capturing your perfect pictures.

I was so excited the week before my session, got my hair cut, eyebrows waxed I wanted to look my best for the big day. I feel most people stress out in preparation for their senior pictures but Olivia makes it organized so that all you have to do is relax.

The Session:

Before going into your session you get to make a Pinterest board of what styles you like.  You find items of what you like for hair and makeup. I was thrilled with my results – my makeup and hair were exactly what I envisioned… but better!

When I showed up to my session I was nervous because I had never modeled for anyone, but with Olivia it was easy peasy. I got to her studio and the makeup artist was already there. I just got to relax while I got my hair and make up all done. Than I changed into my first outfit and headed to my initial location. Olivia told me different poses to try. She also told me when to smile or look serious. She knows exactly how to make you look your best, and she made me laugh a lot while also making me feel very confident. The more the shoot went on the more I felt comfortable. It felt natural!

After your session she gives you a goodie bag with what to do after your session. You want to see all your pictures right after your session, but the big reveal is amazing and worth the wait. As soon as your session is done, Olivia  will then send one of your pictures to you that you can than post. This gets you so excited to see the rest!

THE BIG REVEAL! This was my favorite part. My family and I went into Olivia’s studio. When you get there, there will be a slide show personally made for you. During our review it seemed as if I loved every picture more than the last.  There wasn’t a photo that I felt was not the best me. During this time, Olivia walked us through different collections and what the best way is to get all the pictures we wanted!

I am so excited for you to have this amazing experience with Olivia. You will not regret it. My family and friends were blown away by how amazing they turned out.  Thanks to Olivia Renee for capturing the perfect senior experience.
