Mia grew up in Lake Oswego but went to high school in Utah. She came back to town for her senior session and we got a totally perfect day for her senior pictures. She brought some friends with her and we explored all over Portland so that she could have a total Oregon look to her senior photos. I love it when seniors travel from other states for their senior sessions. Even if something comes up or the weather is bad, we can be flexible enough to make sure we get your session done during your trip. It usually works out perfectly just like it did for Mia’s featured senior session.

We started out on the Portland waterfront for some urban shots near the water and then moved on to the flower fields. We got those super sundrenched sunflower images that scream summer (Even though it was the middle of September!). Then we went full boho with this amazing flowy patterned dress. I love outfits with pattern and movement so this was perfect for field frolicking. Mia thought this location looked like Africa and I may or may not have a video of her miming a Lion King Simba lift moment…

Finally we lounged in the fall grass and danced it out in the middle of a dirt road (because why not??). I love how these images capture Mia’s fun personality and total gorgeousness!

 

Here’s what Mia had to say about her session…

I booked with Olivia because literally everyone in my grade had booked with her and all of their pictures looked incredible. I was really anxious because I didn’t know exactly what outfit to wear with which background but Olivia helped me out and told me what ones would look best. She also took me to the most beautiful locations around Portland and I am so excited to see them all. I already saw my sneak peak and that alone was better than I ever expected them to look! The lighting, the background, my skin even glowed. I am so so happy with how it turned out. Getting my makeup and hair done was also so fun and surprisingly only took like 45 minutes yet was absolutely perfect. Did not expect that! Olivia was super flexible to changing my date because my original one got rained out. I would definitely recommend booking with Olivia, especially if you are not comfortable in front of the camera like me because she was so down to earth and told me exactly what to do, I didn’t even feel like I was trying hard, and yet the pictures are flawless. Thank you Olivia!!!
